The ship is propelled by a B&W 8L60MC main engine that has been modernized in order to reduce consumption, noxious emissions and increase the energy efficiency index. Abstract

"In the context of the global oil crisis, in all fields, an optimization of fuel consumption and an improvement of the efficiency of energy installations are being attempted.
