Informants were policy makers and stakeholders in the hospital. The study were conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The techniqueds of analysis include several steps: reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that service performance at Syekh Yusuf local public hospital in Gowa regency, in terms of several dimensions (responsivity, responsibility, and accontabillity) in general, has not achieved an optimum level. This is influenced by several factors, including organisation internal factors (employees, leadership, organisatios facilities, and word prosedure).in general, there are still some weaknesses. And external organisation factors (local finance, economic condition of the community, and social values) have not given optimum support.
