Abstract

This research describes organisation, interpretation and application of the legal policies in healthcare management as the response to the COVID-19 pandemic in West Java. This research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out with a study of documentation and forum group discussions. Data analysis technique employed the interactive model by Miles, M. B. (process of collecting, condensing, and presenting data, as well as drawing conclusions). In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in West Java, it was carried out by forming the Healthcare Facility Management Division under Acceleration Task Force. The policy was interpreted by establishing a plan to assess the requirements for additional capacity and healthcare workers by referring to the prediction of the increased number of patients using the SimCOVID model. Implementation of management policy for healthcare facilities in West Java has been carried out through organisation, interpretation, and application.
