This study aimed to translate, adapt and examine the psychometric properties, internal consistency and construct validity of The Security in the Interparental Subsystem Scale (SIS) in a sample of 345 adolescents aged 14 to 18 years (M = 16.06 years, SD = 1.22). The results, obtained by Structural Equation Modeling, showed a six-factor version, namely: emotional reactivity, behavioral dysregulation, avoidance, involvement, destructive representations of the family, and representations of conflict overflow. The models showed good adjustment with invariance between the analyzed groups. The reliability of the scale showed adequate values.
