Results: The mean score of student engagement was 73.68 (SD:6.769) and cultural competence was significant 55.76 (SD:4.182). Student engagement showed a high association with the cultural competence (p<0.001). Conclusion: This study highlighted that nursing student highly engage in skill, emotional, participation and performance. The development of cultural competence in awareness, knowledge, skill, and sensitivity was at medium level. Abstract
