One stable ternary intermetallic phase, Ni<sub>5.62</sub>SnSe<sub>2</sub>, was confirmed. Solubility up to 15 at.% of tin was observed in the binary phase NiSe. Metastable binary phase Ni<sub>3</sub>Se<sub>4</sub> was found at 800 K probably stabilized by third element. Abstract
Three isothermal sections of the Ni-Se-Sn ternary system were experimentally investigated at 800 K, 1000 K and 1100 K in whole composition range. One stable ternary intermetallic phase, Ni5.62SnSe2, was confirmed. Solubility up to 15 at.% of tin was observed in the binary phase NiSe.
