Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Abstract

The paper deals with the topic of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, established under the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Annex IV of the General Framework Agreement for Peace) since 1995, its structure, election and appointment of judges, and special attention will be paid to its jurisdiction and decisions, which relates, and their impact on the Bosnian legal order and society in general. An analysis of the work of the constitutional court through different parts of the paper will be performed depending on the importance. The author will also touch on the basic concepts, types and ways of protecting constitutionality and legality, with special reference to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the post-Dayton period.
