Abstract
Verbascum ali-nihatii A. Duran sp. nova (Scrophulariaceae) is described from the Sadağı Canyon (Bursa Province) in western Anatolia, Turkey. It is morphologically similar to V. levanticum but differs from it by having taller stems and different basal leaves, corolla, filament, capsule and indumentum. SEM photographs of pollen and seed features are provided. Following IUCN criteria and categories, the new species is assessed as Endangered.
