The monomer was then co-polymerized with isocyanate hardener on the surface of the mild steel with three different composition. After that it was cured in a muffle furnace to get poly(benzoxazine-urethane). The copolymer’s characterized by UV and FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. The anti-corrosive property of the co-polymer was investigated using polarization and EIS techniques against 3.5% NaCl solution. For additional support for this work, DFT studies also carried out for monomer and its copolymer. Abstract
