The samples were collected seasonally and are categorized as premonsoon, monsoon and post-monsoon during April 2022 and March 2023. Eighteen physicochemical parameters were assessed for forty eight different samples collected along the region of in and around industrial area of Vellore City at two different Monsoon periods. The analysis of the water quality parameters, including pH, EC, TDS, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, Cl-, HCO3-, CO32-, SO42-, and heavy metals, was done in accordance with BIS and WHO standards. The results of these surveys were used to pinpoint the geochemical processes taking place in this area. According to the analytical findings, there were significant variations in the water quality inclinations between samples and locations.
