Abstract
The production of red bricks using clay as a raw material is an economic activity that generates external environmental issues. A strategy for managing land resources is needed to achieve development goals through land-use procedures with spatial plans. This research analyzes the design of a strategy for managing land resources based on public participation by applying the sustainability status of the Multidimensional scaling technique to the area. Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches with a concurrent embedded strategy and the SPSS program, descriptive and inferential statistics are used to analyze data. Research subjects include all responsible for redbrick production, policy makers, and community figures. The results of this study provide potential information for providers based on the characteristics, environmental conditions, and sustainability status of the area, the responses of stakeholders and community leaders to the results of the sustainability analysis, and the design of strategies for managing soil resources in unsustainable areas.
