The results show the most influential research authors, the significant impact of journals and disciplines, topics related to the research on social enterprise governance, and the opportunities for sustainable research on social enterprises. This study’s investigation provides a content analysis of the most recent and relevant articles, explores the areas and topics under investigation, and deduces the directions of the inquiries.
