This case report describes the case of a compound odontoma in a 10-year-old girl associated with an impacted permanent left maxillary incisor. Abstract
Odontomas are relatively asymptomatic odontogenic hamartomatous malformations, commonly in association with impacted or retained primary teeth. They appear as small, solitary or multi-layered radio-opaque lesions which often interfere with tooth eruption. These are diagnosed during routine dental examinations. This case report describes the case of a compound odontoma in a 10-year-old girl associated with an impacted permanent left maxillary incisor.
