(Bolivia), P. inca sp. nov. (Peru), P. lescheni sp. nov. (Ecuador), P. lyra sp. nov. (Brazil), P. meridensis sp. nov. (Venezuela), and P. napoensis sp. nov. (Ecuador). Prionocyphon minutus Pic, and P. vicinus Pic do not belong to Prionocyphon in the present sense. New records of P. coccinuloides Klausnitzer, P. muchei Klausnitzer, and P. samueli Klausnitzer are reported.
