Abstract
A new genus and species of the tribe Amarygmini (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae), Laocnemis gen. nov. borowieci sp. nov., is described from Laos. The newly discovered taxon is characterised by broad elytra, armed profemora, medial contact of the eyes on the frons, keel-like elevated genae, rectangular and not projecting posterior angles of the pronotum, keeled elytral intervals, and broad and short tibiae each with external furrow.
