Abstract

Children and adolescents with cancer, excepting some with central nervous system tumors, have the same cognitive capacity that their peers, early reintegration, tell them that they have a future, growth and development potencial. After hospitalization the school is a normalized factor, it reinforcement the hope in cure. Many factors should be taken to reach appropiated schoolar environment; teachers, parents and classmates have been informated about children medical situation. Children and adolescents with cancer need to be seen like students, not like patients.
