Three cases were in the maxillary sinus and two at the tongue base. All patients received surgical treatment with or without postoperative irradiation. Abstract
Malignant fibrous histiocytoma is a rare tumor in the head and neck region. This paper describes 5 cases, one was primary, and the remaining 4 cases were supposed to be secondary to previous radiotherapy for malignant diseases in the head and neck region.
