The characteristic pathological feature is uniform mesenchymal spindle-shaped cells arranged in interlacing bundles. The prognosis of typical CMN is believed to be excellent by nephrectomy alone. Abstract
Congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) is a rare renal tumor with a distinct pathology and a unique clinical, therapeutic, and prognostic pattern.
