Our study aims to examine, how vertically directed forces are transmitted to the supporting tissues by using photoelastic method. Teeth with case post and core appliances were used as abutments for removable partial dentures. Vertical loading procedure following the construction of removable partial dentures with the same design, revealed distribution of force over dentulous and edentulous ridge areas. Abstract
