Abstract

With offshore oil and gas towards deepwater, deepwater pipeline oil spill is certainly increasing in the foreseeable future. Therefore, it is a prospective study to investigate deepwater pipeline oil spill emergency repair methods. This paper investigates the overseas and domestic research status on deepwater oil spill emergency repair. Different deepwater pipeline oil spill emergency repair methods are proposed according to the different results of visual inspection, while “deepwater pipeline oil spill emergency repair methods database” software is drawn up for analyzing and managing the deepwater pipeline oil spill emergency repair methods.
