Data collection was carried out by observation to the location of the Sendang Banyu Arang water source, management offices, and houses of residents who received the water access point. In addition, data was also obtained by direct interviews with water source managers and village officials. As a comparison data, researchers also conducted interviews with residents of Pejok Village both who got access to Sendang Banyu Arang water and those who did not get access to the water. The results of this study show that managers are less able to maximize the potential of Sendang Banyu Arang due to various factors, including the lack of social capital factors owned.
