In the multivariable Cox regression model, patients who received blood transfusion had a significantly higher risk of 90-day mortality (hazard ratio: 5.68; 95% confidence interval: 5.37, 6.00; P < 0.001) than those who did not.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>We identified potential risk factors for perioperative blood transfusions.
