Abstract

The approach/type of an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) is determined by the underlying cardiac anatomy, venous access, and pre-existing cardiac implantable electronic devices. We describe a case of subcutaneous ICD implantation in an adult with congenital heart disease (CHD) with a pre-existing inframammary transvenous pacemaker.
