The developed Chinese traditional music module was discussed in detail. Five kinds of music training combined with Chinese cultural stories behind music have improved the teaching effectiveness of module. Abstract

The increasing number of international students is not only conducive to promoting the international development of Chinese higher vocational education, but also brings greater challenges in terms of education of international students. According to the main problems international students encountered in Chinese higher vocational colleges, this study developed the Chinese traditional music module to enhance Chinese culture cognition, learning interest and cross-cultural adaptation of international students.
