The problem of leadership, which has an interdisciplinary nature, was and is the subject of attention of many foreign and domestic researchers in the field of history, philosophy, psychology, sociology and pedagogy.Researchers, theoreticians and practitioners call volunteer activity a key component in the formation of personal and professional qualities in general and the effective formation of leadership qualities of student youth in particular.The author revealed the role of volunteering as an effective means of forming leadership qualities of student youth. Abstract
