This created a generation of orphans. The problem of orphans has become a significant issue. Without parents, cognitive, affective, and motor needs are not fulfilled. Children also lose the figure of fulfilling economic needs and also direction for their future. Thus a generation with a bad moral perspective is formed where individuals do things that cross legal boundaries such as stealing, killing, etc. These criminal acts are a form of escape from feelings of trauma that have not yet been healed. Through the Empathy Architecture approach, the empathetic approach focuses on the main users, namely orphans. Human Centered Design is a design approach that takes into account creative ideas that solve the problems of orphans. Target users are separated into 2 categories, namely elementary school children and junior high school students. Prior to that, research was conducted with efforts to focus on orphans on how the role of architecture can meet the cognitive, affective, and motor needs of orphans. Interviews with psychology lecturers were carried out in an effort to add insight into the differences in the behavior of children who have a sense of trauma at this young age. Thus, it is hoped that understanding will lead to the implementation of the designs needed in healing the trauma problems of orphans, as well as providing direction for the child's future. The design will be based on the application of the Stimulating Environment concept, which is the design of a stimulating environment which encourages users to carry out body interaction activities with each other. With this approach the development of 3 ideas namely a stimulating environment, a multi-sensory environment, and positive distractions is used as a reference for whether the orphanage is architecturally effective in influencing the psychological problems of orphans. Design will stimulate the human senses which include the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Thus it is hoped that the research process can produce designs that can be a means of care, a means of healing, and prepare children for their future. Keywords: Child’s needs; Orphans; Trauma Abstrak Memasuki masa covid 19, diperkirakan lebih dari 40.000 anak akan kehilangan orangtuanya. Hal tersebut menciptakan generasi anak yatim piatu. Permasalahan anak yatim piatu telah menjadi isu yang signifikan.Tanpa adanya sosok orang tua, kebutuhan kognitif, afektif, dan motorik tidaklah terpenuhi. Anak juga kehilangan sosok pemenuhan kebutuhan segi ekonomi dan juga arahan atas masa depannya. Demikian terbentuklah generasi dengan perspektif moral yang buruk yang dimana individu melakukan hal yang melewati batas hukum seperti mencuri, membunuh, dll.Tindakan krimininalitas tersebut merupakan bentuk pelarian akan perasaan trauma yang belum sembuh. Melewati pendekatan Emphaty Architecture, pendekatan empati berfokus pada pengguna utama yaitu anak yatim piatu.Human Centered Design adalah pendekatan desain dengan memperhatikan ide kreatif yang menyelesaikan permasalahan anak yatim piatu.Target pengguna dipisahkan menjadi 2 kategori yaitu anak SD dan anak SMP.Sebelum itu penelitian dilakukan dengan upaya berfokus pada anak yatim piatu akan bagaimana peran arsitektur dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kognitif, afektif, dan motorik anak yatim piatu. Wawancara pada dosen psikologi dilakukan dengan upaya menambah wawasan akan perbedaan tingkah laku anak yang memiliki rasa trauma pada usia muda ini. Dengan demikian diharapkan mendapatkan pemahaman mengarah pada implementasi desain yang diperlukan dalam menyembuhkan permasalahan trauma anak yatim piatu, serta memberikan arahan akan masa depan anak. Perancangan akan berprinsip pada penerapan konsep Stimulating Environment yang dimana perancangan lingkungan yang merangsang yang dimana mendorong pengguna untuk melakukan kegiatan interaksi tubuh satu sama lain. Dengan pendekatan tersebut pengembangan 3 gagasan yaitu lingkungan yang merangsang, lingkungan multi-indera, dan gangguan positif digunakan sebagai acuan akan apakah panti asuhan tersebut secara arsitektur efektif dalam mempengaruhi masalah psikologis anak yatim piatu. Desain akan merangsang indera-indera manusia yang meliputi indera pengelihatan, pendengaran, penciuman, pengecapan, dan sentuhan.
