Abstract
Melanosis Coli is a rare and unusual appearance of the colon with dark brown pigmentation in a snakeskin-like pattern. Owing to its rarity and different view, it cannot be distinguished from ischemic colitis, especially in acute settings. Unfortunately, some patients are diagnosed after colectomy.
