Clinical case: ectopia of supernumerary tooth in the nasal cavity

Abstract

Эктопия сверхкомплектных зубных зачатков в полость носа является достаточно редкой патологией. Анализ литературы по данному вопросу показал, что в большинстве сообщений об эктопии зуба пациенты обращались с конкретными жалобами и аномальная локализация зуба приводила к развитию определенной патологии. В данной статье описан редкий случай нахождения сверхкомплектного зуба в полости носа. Приводятся некоторые аспекты диагностики и удаления подобных инородных тел из полости носа в амбулаторных условиях. Считаем целесообразным рассматривать описанный случай как проявление дисэмбриогенеза. Annotation. Ectopia of supercomplete dental rudiments in the nasal cavity is a fairly rare pathology. An analysis of the literature on this issue showed that in most reports of ectopia of the tooth, patients addressed specific complaints and abnormal localization of the tooth led to the development of a certain pathology. This article describes a rare case of finding an supernumerary tooth in the nasal cavity. Some aspects of the diagnosis and removal of such foreign bodies from the nasal cavity in an outpatient setting have been considered. We consider it expedient to consider the described case as a manifestation of dysembriogenesis.
