Analysis of the prevalence of inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region in children of the Krasnodar Region

Abstract

Цель исследования — оценить распространенность воспалительных заболеваний челюстно-лицевой области (ЧЛО) у детей. Проведен анализ заболеваемости у детей, поступивших в отделение челюстно-лицевой хирургии Краснодарской краевой клинической больницы с 2017 по 2021 г. Изучали истории болезни 8313 пациентов, а также ежегодные статистические отчеты отделения. Распространенность воспалительных заболеваний ЧЛО в среднем составила 42,9%. Наибольшая доля воспалительных заболеваний приходится на 2020 г. — 46,1%. Самый низкий результат обнаружен в 2017 г. — 37,8%. В структуре воспалительных заболеваний преобладают одонтогенные процессы, которые в среднем составляют 73,2% и варьируют от 64,1% в 2017 г. до 78,1% в 2020 г. Доля опухолей и опухолеподобных состояний ЧЛО составляла от 27,4% в 2020 г. до 39,0% в 2017 г. (в среднем — 33,9%). Госпитализации по поводу врожденных пороков развития ЧЛО составляли от 10,8% в 2019 г. до 14,7% в 2017 г. (в среднем — 12,6%). Травматические поражения ЧЛО составили от 8,5% в 2017 г. до 13,4% в 2020 г. (в среднем — 10,4%). Выявлены высокие показатели и неуклонный рост количества больных детей с воспалительными заболеваниями ЧЛО, преимущественно одонтогенной этиологии, некоторое снижение доли заболеваний с опухолями и опухолевидными состояниями. The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence of inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region in children. . We analyzed the diseases of children admitted to the Maxillofacial surgery Division of the Krasnodar Regional Clinical Hospital in 2017—2021. Case histories of 8313 patients were studied, as well as the annual statistical reports of the hospital. . The prevalence of inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region averaged 42.9%. The highest proportion of inflammatory diseases was in 2020 — 46.1%. The lowest result was found in 2017 — 37.8%. The structure of inflammatory diseases is dominated by odontogenic processes, which averaged 73.2% and ranged from 64.1% in 2017 to 78.1% in 2020. The proportion of tumors and tumor-like conditions ranged from 27.4% in 2020 to 39.0% in 2017 (33.9% on average). Hospitalizations for congenital malformations of the choroid ranged from 10.8% in 2019 to 14.7% in 2017 (12.6% on average). Traumatic lesions of the maxilla ranged from 8.5% in 2017 to 13.4% in 2020 (10.4% on average). . High rates and a steady increase in the number of children with inflammatory diseases of the maxillae, mainly of odontogenic etiology, and a slight decrease in the proportion of diseases with tumors and tumor-like conditions have been revealed.
