Methods: As for the methodology, this research is characterized as descriptive, whose method adopted was the case study, being investigated documents produced by musician and composer Arnaldo Almeida, as well as its narrative, through the interview technique, the possibility of verifying the identity and memorialistic relations in the mediating action. Results: Among the results, it was identified that Arnaldo Almeida has, in addition to the practice, perceptions about music, and its representativeness, which gives it a possibility to perform a conscious cultural mediation. It is also possible to relate and understand that Arnaldo Almeida's artistic production has an interlace of memory and identity expressed through music, which result in cultural mediation actions.
