It has been implicated as a cause of thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) in several case reports. The incidence, risk factors, and treatment of carfilzomib-related TMA remain unclear. Here we describe the clinical presentation and outcome of a 58-year-old man with biopsy-proven TMA that occurred following treatment with carfilzomib-based therapy. Abstract
