The genetic divergence and phylogenetic relationships suggest historical isolation. Abstract
This paper introduces Xanthomelon amurndamilumilasp. nov., a newly-discovered land snail species inhabiting the North East Isles, offshore from Groote Eylandt (= Ayangkidarrba), north-western Gulf of Carpentaria, in the Northern Territory, Australia.
