The patient underwent an invasive diagnosis of lung and mediastinum using ENB with cryobiopsy. The histopathological examination revealed adenocarcinoma and lymphoma cells, ultimately guiding the initiation of appropriate therapeutic measures.Among the available methods, those with the highest diagnostic yield and safety should be chosen. A minimally invasive approach in the diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary lesions may pose a challenge for thoracic surgeons when selecting the most appropriate technique.
