Building Client Networks and Maximising Your Resources

Abstract

A report on how an Irish professional dog behavior consultant created a social media based network of past clients who were able to provide opportunities to learn and practice behavior modification skills without the direct supervision of the consultant. The structure of “The Alumni”’ is discussed alongside observations of the beneficial role such a network plays in a particularly challenging semi-rural Irish environment.
