Impact of parity number, milk production and somatic cell count on the reproduction of Holstein cows.

There was no adverse effect of milk production on reproductive parameters in high producing cows (>40 kg milk/d), however, the percentage of pregnant cows with this production level was significantly higher in multiparous cows.
