Specimens were discovered in association with surface vegetation of the seaweed <em>Halimeda opuntia</em> (Linnaeus) Lamouroux, 1816, collected during low tide from the intertidal region. This species is characterized by uniquely intersected short brown parallel lines in the lower part of the ribs, setting it apart from other <em>Vexillum</em> species. The paper provides a brief description, illustration, and outlines the geographical distribution of this species worldwide.
