This is the second known representative of the tribe Risiini in the fauna of Australia and of Notogaea as a whole. Abstract
A new monotypic genus Deuterrisiusgen. n. with the type species Deuterrisius tobiasisp. n. is described. This is the second known representative of the tribe Risiini in the fauna of Australia and of Notogaea as a whole. The new genus is most closely related to the previously described, also Australian genus Austrorgerius Woodward; these two genera are united into a new subtribe Deuterrisiina subtrib. n.
