Abstract—Data on the effect of the annealing temperature on the microstructure of a prepared diffusion coating are reported. The minimum annealing temperature for the formation of a diffusion coating is determined. Results of electron microprobe analysis of the chemical composition and microstructure of the prepared coatings are reported; the changes in the microhardness of them are also considered.
