The data were analyzed using chi-square test, paired sample t-test, Mann–Whitney U test and Wilcoxon test by means of the SPSS 22.0 program. The ethnocentrism mean scores of the students in the case group who participated in the intercultural awareness training were found to be lower than those of the control group. Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of cultural awareness training on the ethnocentrism level of nursing students. This study was a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pretest and posttest design. The research was completed with 64 students.
