Abstract

The importance of the research lies in knowing the five brain waves that include each of ((Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma)) because it is considered the main part of the work of the brain, whose main duty is to perform all human movements as well as the characteristics that the guard has and their relationship to some skills Defensive guards in order to benefit from those concerned and specialists in the field of football in particular and the rest of sports in general and the research problem is determined that the performance of all the movements performed by the athlete depends on the brain duty that is the main part of the central nervous system and its duty to perform all of these movements and The difference of mu Brain states according to the individual’s condition or according to activity and that has a direct impact on all the movements of the individual, including sports performance movements, and that the goalkeeper's requirements have high damning electrical efforts resulting in changes in the electrical waves of the brain, which the researchers considered studying these changes in brain electric waves And its relationship to some basic defense skills of goalkeepers in football to be the subject of his research, hoping to add a new study to the Iraqi library in codifying physical efforts and choosing exercises in light of this.As well as identifying the relationship between brain wave variables and the basic defensive skills of goalkeepers in football. The researchers assumed that there was a statistical correlation between the five independent variables and the defensive skills of the goalkeeper in football. A sample of the research community of 9 soccer goalkeepers from the Premier League for the football season 2017/2018 and the homogeneity of the research sample was verified in the variables of age, height, weight and training age that are related to the subject of the research, and the researcher conducted The exploratory experiment on a sample from outside the research sample represented by 3 guards to identify the validity of the tests through the scientific foundations for them, and included field procedures to study on tests for measuring brainwaves. Particularly with skills and brain waves, the data were statistically treated.
