Abstract
The inaugural Who Went Where in Supply Chain Management (SCM) survey replicates the 19‐year format from the highly successful American Marketing Association (AMA) Doctoral Special Interest Group. Results provide data about newly minted doctoral graduates in the job‐seeking stage of their doctoral programs. The report is based on their responses and offers insight into the competitiveness of doctoral applicants as they sought starting positions. We adapted the AMA survey report to the field of SCM. As the new researchers and academics with SCM doctorates place themselves into academic and nonacademic positions, the report seeks to provide (1) awareness to PhD students on how to prepare and be competitive in the job market and (2) offer acumen to academic leaders to equip doctoral students and shape their doctoral program requirements to enhance competitiveness.
首届供应链管理(SCM)"谁去了哪里"(Who Went Where in Supply Chain Management)调查沿用了美国市场营销协会(AMA)博士特别兴趣小组(Doctoral Special Interest Group)19 年来的调查形式。
Accounts of Chemical Research presents short, concise and critical articles offering easy-to-read overviews of basic research and applications in all areas of chemistry and biochemistry. These short reviews focus on research from the author’s own laboratory and are designed to teach the reader about a research project. In addition, Accounts of Chemical Research publishes commentaries that give an informed opinion on a current research problem. Special Issues online are devoted to a single topic of unusual activity and significance.
Accounts of Chemical Research replaces the traditional article abstract with an article "Conspectus." These entries synopsize the research affording the reader a closer look at the content and significance of an article. Through this provision of a more detailed description of the article contents, the Conspectus enhances the article's discoverability by search engines and the exposure for the research.
