The vegetable crops cultivated in Bangladesh confront annual threats from insect pests, with aphids, as piercing-sucking insects, emerging as particularly perilous. These pests inflict direct damage by extracting cell sap and indirectly contribute to severe yield loss by transmitting viral diseases.
