Abstract

The main focus is on exploring the optimal gas injection development model for deep, low permeability and water sensitive reservoirs. The technical limit of liquid CO2 injection was defined, which would effectively guide injection parameter design. A new type of anti-corrosion and gas-tight injection string were designed, which would assure safe and efficient injection. The successful field test provided an effective energy replenishment method for deep, low permeability and water sensitive reservoirs, and also provided technical reference for the effective utilization of other similar reservoirs in the next step.
