The effect of activation of Tb<sup>3+</sup> radioluminescence in the presence of H scavengers has been revealed, indicating the presence of a specific (Tb<sup>3+</sup>)* quenching reaction by this radiolysis product, which is inhibited by its scavengers. Abstract
The influence of scavengers of the primary water radiolysis products \({\text{e}}_{{{\text{aq}}}}^{ - }\) and the H atom on the spectra and intensity of radioluminescence and photoluminescence of the Tb3+ ion in aqueous solutions of TbCl3 and Tb(NO3)3 is considered.
