Abstract
The author’s insights regarding the early phase of establishing education partnerships is based on serving Qatar Foundation from 2007 to 2014 as its Education City grew in number of institutions, student enrollment, and complexity of functions. Maturing as a hub capable of stimulating new knowledge and innovation required cultivating cooperation and mutual benefit with its partners and fostering community among faculty, staff, and students.
