Abstract
The King Cricket genus, Anabropsis in the family Anostostomatidae Saussure, 1859, contains 7 subgenera and 63 species, with species diversity of the genus being rich in China. The paper deals with one new species of the subgenus Anabropsis (Apteranabropsis) from Chongqing, China. All the specimens are deposited in Guangxi Normal University.
