Abstract
Adropion camtchaticum sp. nov. (Tardigrada: Eutardigrada: Itaquasconidae) is described. The type specimens of the new species were found in a moss sample collected on the Kamchatka Peninsula. The new species is most similar to A. scoticum (Murray, 1905), but clearly differs from the latter in the larger body size, thinner bucco-pharyngeal tube, the presence of teeth in the oral cavity, and toothed bases of claws of all legs.
