Abstract
The symmetric (2+1)-dimensional Lotka-Volterra equation with self-consistent
sources is constructed using the source generation producure, whose solutions
are expressed in terms of pfaffians. As special cases of the pfaffian
solutions, different types of explicit solutions are presented, including
dromions, soliton solutions and breather solutions.
