We then briefly introduce the papers in this volume and discuss their contributions to the event integration framework. Abstract
This essay is the introduction to the Special Issue ‘Events in language and mind: Theoretical and empirical advances in the event integration theory’. We first review Leonard Talmy’s event integration theory in addition to some critiques of this framework.
