To accomplish sufficient surgical results, it is necessary to have surgical experience, not only because of the surrounding fragile soft tissue, but also due to the specific anatomical structures surrounding the ankle joint and the postsurgical biomechanical stress to osteosynthesis. In the following video, the most relevant steps of surgery as well as some useful tips and tricks are mentioned.
